Farrell came to Crosspointe in 1990 when the church was known as Temple Baptist. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 1979 in Biblical studies and church music from Campbellsville College and completed his Master of Divinity in 1989 at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the primary speaker for our corporate worship services and spends much of his week visiting sick and bereaved members of the congregation. Farrell also seeks out God’s vision for our congregation and provides leadership in the administration and ministry of the church. He and his wife Brenda have two adult children, Caleb and Cassie, and two granddaughters. In his free time he enjoys carpentry and spending time with his family.
Interim Worship Leader
Sara joined Crosspointe’s staff in 2019. She manages the day to day operation of the church including but not limited to publications, communications, and bookkeeping. A long time Daviess county resident, Sara and her husband Bruce have served in ministry throughout their marriage. They have two grown, married sons, and a daughter still at home. Sara is a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she is director of the Women’s Ministry. Studying the Bible, mentoring women and teaching them to love God’s Word is her favorite thing to do. When she has free time she loves to hike, kayak and drive her Camaro.
