Farrell came to Crosspointe in 1990 when the church was known as Temple Baptist. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 1979 in Biblical studies and church music from Campbellsville College and completed his Master of Divinity in 1989 at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the primary speaker for our corporate worship services and spends much of his week visiting sick and bereaved members of the congregation. Farrell also seeks out God’s vision for our congregation and provides leadership in the administration and ministry of the church. He and his wife Brenda have two adult children, Caleb and Cassie, and two granddaughters. In his free time he enjoys carpentry and spending time with his family.
Josh joined Crosspointe’s staff in March 2009. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Campbellsville University and a Master’s of Divinity from Liberty University. His responsibilities include leading and overseeing the education, discipleship, and ministry for children from birth through high school. Josh is married to Daniela Houk and they have two sons, Josiah and Jonah. In his free time Josh enjoys graphic design, being outdoors, and playing with his kids.
Frank has served as Worship Pastor at Crosspointe since 2012, but he previously served our congregation under the name of Temple Baptist from 1995-1998. He also works for US Bank. Frank began in ministry in 1991 and later received his degree in church music from Kentucky Wesleyan College in 1999. Frank plans the music and media elements of the church’s worship gatherings, rehearses and develops our worship team members, and organizes and directs choirs for special events. Frank is married to Janet Cook and they have three adult daughters: Faith, Hope, and Franah, and one granddaughter. When he is not working two jobs, Frank enjoys movies and landscaping.
Kristine grew up here at Crosspointe and is now serving as preschool director. Kristine is a full-time student at Owensboro Community and Technical College majoring in business with a minor in early childhood education. Kristine is also employed at the Wheatgrass Juicebar and Nona’s Market . Kristine enjoys spending time with family and watching movies.
Karen has been Crosspointe’s secretary since 2005. She graduated from Apollo High School in 1980 and then attended office administration school. Karen manages the day to day operation of the church office, church communications and publications, bookkeeping, and many other various tasks as needs arise. Karen is married to Ted Moore and they have two adult children, Seth and Emily, and one granddaughter. In her spare time Karen enjoys reading Christian fiction and doing counted cross stitch.
